Role & Responsibilities

In this project, I worked as a Product Designer. Some of my responsibilities are:

• Collaborate with the team to conduct user research and validate problems with real users.
• Prioritize features that will be implemented in the application for the first iteration.
• Create user flow, user persona, and competitors matrix using Miro.
• Create a low-fidelity design using Whimsical and a high-fidelity design using Figma.
• Create a design system from typography, color, and components by using auto layout, component & variant in Figma.
• Conduct user testing by creating questions, defining goals and objectives, and user scenarios using Maze.

Background Story

Before we jump to Taarufi Application, I want to tell you a little bit about Halal in Islam. In the life of a Muslim (a person who is Islam), there are Halal and Haram terms.

Halal in Arabic means permissible, while Haram is everything that is prohibited in Islam

This term is not only used for food, but all aspects of life, such as finance, cosmetics, entertainment, and social relations between humans and God. All of these aspects aim to regulate the lifestyle of Muslims based on the Quran and Hadith. One of the categories that our team is particularly interested in is halal relationships.

🧐 With that title, we are curious about how Indonesian people implement halal in their relationships.

Islam itself teaches us to have a relationship until marriage by doing Ta’aruf. Because in Islam, dating is actually not allowed.
